Strangers&Smiles

For my summer job, i work at UNC campus in one of my Dad's buildings. In the past couple of days I've met many new people and continue to pass strangers everyday. At 5 o' clock (when my shift ends) i walk at least a mile to my dad's office. Every day i make that walk, i pass many different strangers. I smile at all of them that look at me, or say hello and make quick small talk. I tell you, smiling (especially to strangers) makes my day. Smiling in general. And i know it makes their day too. It is such an amazing second-long connection you can make with others. That little impact can change their attitude, which may change their day (and always changes mine).
Kindness goes a long way. It's essential. If you are genuine to others, you can have amazing life long impacts on them. The little moments add up. I have remembered every person (strangers included) who have been friendly, compassionate and loving towards me. These, all added up throughout my whole life span, have founded the positivity i have today. My positivity is based off of the impact it has for others, and for myself.

one week of HOT

Last week at Girl's camp, everything was hot.
The fast food we had every day
Me and kendra's buns on top of our heads

But some things weren't.

late at night

I love comparisons.
and Girl's camp.
Although it's not my element, it's extremely inspiring.
Nothing like a bunch of girls out in nature.
Nature is the perfect place,
for perfect people.

50 reasons why andrew is my favorite

1. He once dedicated a youtube video to me of him playing drums (and i loved it!)
2. We both like Dr. pepper and chug it like no other.
3. He makes me laugh at how goofy he acts.
4. He watches my favorite movies with me.
5. He's extremely passionate about many things.
6. He let's me be me.
7. He always steals my raspberry mango smoothies from panera.
8. His eyes are one of a kind (and everyone agrees!)
9. He watches legend of the seeker and still makes fun of me for the things i do...
10. I never have any complaints about his style and that's saying something.
11. We both have tiny ears.

13. He always figits constantly, sometimes on me.

18. He has nine amazing siblings and two wonderful parents (and extended family!)

25. We both have extremely different tastes in music but we do share some things.
26. He wakes me up by pushing and/or squishing me.

28. I have a friend named Cat, and his best friend is named mouse. (he didn't think it was funny)
29. We never get bored together. no matter what it is.
30. He works at Wegman's, almost everyday and long hours (such a hard worker)

33. our anniversary is january 1st 2010 believe it or not.
34. He's a REALLY good driver.

36. He has a really close relationship with his mom. (who is amazing!)
37. He has already driven twice down here by himself , which is four hours.
38. He bites his nails.
39. He got his eagle scout award.
40. He looks good no matter what haircut he has.
41. His hair grows extremely fast (about 1/4 an inch every 2 weeks)
42. He has an immature goofy side and an extremely mature side.
43. He has a very distinctive laugh.
44. He is very honest about what he thinks.
45. He always finds the goofiest youtube videos.
46. He's going to svu for college, and i know it's perfect for him.
47. He's a strong member of the mormon church.
48. We always have the most interesting conversations with eachother.
49. He may seem intimidating, but he's not i promise.
50. He loves me.

100th post

I've absolutely loved blogging. At many times i feel like i do it mainly for myself considering very few people read it. But i hope those who have read this (including you!) have been inspired, uplifted and have left with an overwhelming feeling of being loved. I do want everyone to know how much i really care about and think of them. You all are incredible people, who have constantly inspired me to create the posts i put up. Thank you for your constant support and opinions.

I type this while in deep personal concern as my dear pet (pictured above) has recently developed a tumor. It's so difficult to be so attached to such a tiny creature that can develop unsolved problems. Fortunately, this tumor can be fixed. But i hope the entire procedure helps. From you all, i ask that you don't bring it up as i will probably start balling.

So Small

I glanced outside today and found this amazing little creature. It (i have no way to tell the gender) was in our backyard for at least 5 hours (and may possibly still be there!)

I sat outside starring at the fawn for three hours.

best wasteful(-ish) activity ever.
